I didn’t know,
Until you called me mother,
I was your mother.
I didn’t know,
Until you called me sister,
I was your sister.
I didn’t know,
Until you called me love,
I was your love.
I didn’t know,
Until you called me queen,
I was your queen.
I didn’t know,
Until you called me whore,
I was your whore.
It was all,
For you to call,
I later knew,
I had no name.

What beauty maybe?
What is beauty?,
You’ve been asking since dawn.
Have you seen it?
That are seeking it for long.
How did it look?
The beauty, you did ask.
And I tell you,
Beauty, you see it, hear it,
Or touch it, never counts.
To feel it, what matters.
To feel the sun,
Touching my skin,
The waves bathing my feet,
The wind,
That taught me to fly.
None of what beauty may count,
Unless you feel it,
Not by touch,
But by the heart full of love.
Unanswered questions
Looking into the mirror,
Questioning the life in it.
I saw a stranger,
Who stares back with answers.
It shot out so many,
That I could not pick the right one.
It’s eyes swelling up,
It was not my fault,
It never was my fault.
Thoughtful burden
Walking out in the yesterdays,
Did not bring back what I lost.
Looking into the tomorrows,
Nothing made sense of most.
Then I chose to live today,
So I could stop thinking and smile.
For my people
There’s no victory,
To stop this war.
There’s no rain,
To wash away the field.
There’s no shade,
To keep us sane.
Winning’s all loosing,
And not to lose is,
To keep fighting
Forever,
So there will be more,
To fight for.
Shameful!
Absurdity,
Isn’t that what the world’s got to now.
Beauty,
Oh! That’s what I hope to find then.
Calling by the right name
It is really interesting to know that,
when I was born people used to call me a baby.
As I started to grow they referred to me as a baby boy.
When I fought myself into the adulthood they called me a man.
And when I grew old, they teased me as an old man.
Now, when I die they would refer my body as ‘it’.
“We have to bury it” they said.
Funny, how people start to change their perspective from time to time.
Calling everything by it’s right name.
His last note

He dropped his pen and looked around.
The room was empty as it always had been. He smiled to himself and rubbed his wrinkled chin. His eyes swelled up but no time to rub them off.
The sun had set and the wind had died. The room was empty as it always had been.
Only note he left on the lonely table read:
I was here.
Making others happy is the greatest virtue there is, but do not become a laughing stock for others. Your happiness comes first.
This is why we live, right?
Just because we are tall
Does not mean everyone else is a dwarf.
Just because we are rich
Does not mean everyone else is poor.
Just because we have power
Does not mean everyone else is a slave.
So cherish the time you have in this world, those who have, help who doesn’t have.
To help others is why we all exist.
Keep on smiling and don’t let your money or power take away others happiness ☺️.
Have a great day.
